Verbal Eyes is a curriculum development partner for the Arkansas Peer Recovery Support Specialist Certification.

Peer Recovery Support Specialists are individuals who have lived experience with addiction recovery and are trained to support others in their journey to sobriety. Research shows that these professionals improve engagement with treatment services, prevents relapse, and reduces costs for healthcare systems.

Our Role

  • Editing trainer and participant manuals so that content is consistently organized and easy to read.

  • During covid, quickly converting in-person curriculum to online format.

  • Providing courseware such as course slide decks and infographic card decks for specialists to use in the field.

  • Providing subject matter expertise to write sections of the curriculum on topics such as how to provide peer mentorship safely online.
