Trauma Resource Initiative for Schools (TRIS)

Verbal Eyes is a partner in the development of TRIS a program that helps school personnel recognize and respond to the impact of trauma on students.

Training has been delivered to more than 10,000 educators.

98% of surveyed participants report successful implementation of strategies in their schools.

TRIS contracts with Verbal Eyes to:

  • collaborate with the UAMS Psychiatric Institute to develop in-person trainings

  • produce “digital coaching” videos delivered via text message services to educators

  • design and manage the TRIS website

  • edit and design reports, slide decks, and speaker notes

Clients

TRIS is a program of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Education. It is funded by a generous behavioral health grant from the Blue & Foundation
